Challenges
The client mentioned she want her new logo to place emphasis on the brand ("DFY") rather than just a "talk show"
The previous logo feels generic and somewhat dated
Small details won't scale well on social media profile images, favicons or mobile screens
The client also wanted a strong standalone icon that can be used later without the brand name.
About Brand
The DFY Show is a podcast and Linkedin audio series dedicated ito helping professionals succeed in the workplace and in their business endeavours. It is hosted by Damilola Felicia Badmus and each episode features insightful conversations and practical advice on topics such as Branding, business development, leadership and sustainable business practices. The brand has its youtube page that contain their previous episodes. The show is done every two weeks in a month.

The organization has moved from a generic talk-show logo (speech bubbles + microphone) to a distinctive brand identity centered around DFY itself.
The new identity gives the modern digital brand aesthetic
